• Carl will be teaching an intermediate lapidary class called Cutting the Perfect Oval.

• Prerequisites for this class will are taking any of Carl's classes or having some experience cutting cabs.  

• He will build on your skills  to cut the perfect oval.

• The class will focus on cutting a nice level girdle and smooth symmetric dome with great polish.

• Each student will complete one to two stones during the class.

• Bring your own slab or buy one at the club.  He suggests a jasper or agate, but not too hard. Softer stones like obsidian are also not advisable.

• Participants should bring their own eye protection and a shop apron.

• Max 6 students. There will be 1 student per machine.

• You must be a Club Member.
