About Us
Our club was established in 1958. It started from a night school program led by Laurie and Joan Meggait and has operated in different locations, including garages, basements, and greenhouses. Our first permanent workshop was in the old ice arena basement, and with help from the municipality, we moved to our current location on Fern Crescent, next to the artist in residence. We are a family-oriented arts group, welcoming all ages to explore creativity through activities like stone carving, gemstone faceting, jewellry design, silversmithing, enamelling, and more.
We honour our lifetime members who have donated countless hours and resources to the continued success of the club.
