3 Days of Jade Carving with Deborah

Service Description

Deborah Wilson is a world renowned jade carver and her intensive workshops are designed to cover the process involved in creating jade sculptures or jewellery. The workshop will include teaching carving techniques from cut to polish. Directions on shop set up, referrals to suppliers, and a customized workshop manual. All levels of experience are welcome. As we are a lapidary club, Deborah is offering this class at a generous rate, so please take advantage of this unique opportunity. If there is enough interest, Deborah has offered to come and teach another workshop in August. Most of the equipment will be supplied. Items to bring if you have: Rubber gloves, rubber boots, respirator, magnifying visor, ear plugs or any hearing protection Foredoms or dremels, any safety equipment
