Introduction to Soapstone Carving

Registration is Required

Participants will create a soapstone Pendant. All materials will be provided. We will learn to choose a piece of soapstone, the proper use of carving tools, and safe handling of materials. Please note that this is not a drop-off activity. Parents and guardians are required to stay with the group and remain responsible for their children while at the club. Please Note: Youth participate in classes and activities at the discretion of the instructors. For safety, decisions are based not solely on age, but also on experience, ability and maturity. This class is part of our youth program and is free of charge.
